My background is steeped in the world of smaller listed companies in the UK. Over the years, I've acquired a detailed knowledge of the way the City works in that sector. I've gained experience across the boardroom, particularly governance issues. As CEO of the Quoted Companies Alliance I led the development of the QCA Code.

I've worked with many of the key participants: investors, intermediaries, companies, regulators and market operators.

I'm also experienced in chairing and delivering seminars, webcasts and other public speaking events in the UK, and also the EU.

Advisory

I advise a limited number of businesses on their strategy and development. Examples include working with a growing accountancy firm since 2010. Working with the board and collaborating to help develop the next generation. Another, advising a pre-IPO company on City issues and challenges.
